Since these web pages are based on the 6th edition of the CBE Manual which was published in 1994, there is no coverage of formats for citing electronically available material. The Council of Science Editors currently recommends using the National Library of Medicine's "Recommended Formats for Bibliographic Citation" for examples of how to cite these sources appropriately.
