Writing Citations using the Modern Language Association’s (MLA) 8th Edition

The new edition has updated guidelines for documenting sources.

The MLA Handbook, 8th ed., focuses on core elements that are common to all works.

All these elements are used to create bibliographic citations for you “Works Cited” page.

 

Works Cited

These elements are needed to create bibliographic citations for your "Works Cited" page(s). Your "Works Cited" is the list of sources cited in the text of your research paper and is included at the end of your research paper.
