The search box will locate books, articles, and videos. Enter keywords relating to your topic or type in the title of a book, article or film. Put quotes around phrases or around a full title.

When searching for a topic, combine keywords with AND (all uppercase) to require both terms to show up in your results. Click the yellow search icon. 

At the results screen, the "Format' toolbar at left lists the types of materials available based on your search terms. Check the box beside a format to limit your results. Click the blue title links to see more information about the item.

Items available in the Ely Library collections will be marked "Westfield State University Ely Library."
Items not available in the Ely Library collections will be marked "At other libraries worldwide."

Books

For books, the location (Ely Library Stacks) and call number (GV1469.3.V526 2010) are displayed if it is available. eBooks will also be listed in your results and can be accessed by clicking the "View eBook" button.

For articles listed in your results, click the blue "View full text" link to access the article.

Advanced Search

In some cases, it will be helpful to search by author and title.  This can be done by clicking the link for the Advanced Search on the library homepage.
