Color Printing

Availability

Color printing is available from all of the computers but does require changing printer settings.

Cost for Color Printing

Printing on campus is a set 200 page credit (represented as $10) per semester. This does not distinguish between double-sided pages but it does account for color.

Black & White printing costs $.05 per page (single or double sided)

Color printing costs $.10 per page (single or double sided)

Changing Settings

Unfortunately, the printer settings look slightly different depending on which program a patron is trying to print from. Included below are instructions for the most common programs. These are available as a physical handout at the Circulation Desk.

Printing Color Images Only - Troubleshooting

If a patron is printing images, and they right-click the unopened image icon and then click print, the print dialog that comes up may look very different than the print dialog for most applications and it is near impossible to find an option for color printing. Instead, have them open the image, and then print from within the application that opened the image.

Printing Color from the Cloud - Troubleshooting

If a patron is printing from the cloud using a web application, it may not print in color. The patron will need to download the content from the cloud in order for color printing to work.
