Oops! Error Page

When I clicked on a link, I got an "Oops!..." error...

 

   

 

Oops! It looks like you have attempted to view a page that has not been configured for access.

If you are a library patron...

Please contact your library and provide the name of the resource you were trying to access and the Host line below so the library can work with you to correct this error.

Host http://somebd.library.com

If you are an EZproxy administrator...

To allow http://somedb.library.com be used in a starting point URL....

   


The "Oops..." error means we do not have the e-resource set up within our EZproxy system. There are two options you can try:

  • The resource doesn't need to be authenticated. Copy the URL in the sentence that begins, "To allow ..." and paste it in a new browser tab. This should allow you access to the resource.
  • The resource is new to the library and/or the proxy has not been updated. If you try the option above and it doesn't work, this is very likely the problem. Please email askus@westfield.ma.edu; copy and paste the URL that didn't work, and a description or screenshot of where you found it. Please be as specific as possible so we can duplicate the issue.

EZproxy Redirect Notice: Out of Date Link

When I clicked on a link, I landed on the EZ Proxy Redirect Notice page...

 

As stated on the EZproxy Redirect notice page, Ely Library made a system change to its EZproxy authentication server at the end of 2023.

Due to the change in servers, the URL prefix for the library's resources changed, affecting links to all online library content, including databases, articles, videos, and eBooks.

Please try searching for your item again from the library's website, and update your links/bookmarks, etc.
