Country reports submitted annually by the U.S. Department of State to Congress.  Reports "cover internationally recognized individual, civil, political, and worker rights, as set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights."  Areas covered include Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe and the New Independent States, Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada, and the Near East.

This is the website for Human Rights Watch, an independent, nongovernmental organization dedicated to protecting the human rights of people around the world. The site offers reports investigating human rights abuses in many countries in all regions of the world. The site also features audio, video, and photo essays.
