NOTE: Make sure to use the * following your call number. For this search you do not need to limit to Education Resources Collection. There are no PZ call numbers in the stacks!
To locate journal articles on assessment, use research databases available from the Education Library Guide.
To locate books for background information, use the Ely Library QuickSearch. This may lead you to the Stack, Reference Collection, or ERC. NOTE: There are several books available Online. Limit your searches to E-Books to find them.

NOTE: Textbooks series are almost impossible to locate using the Ely Library QuickSearch. Teacher's Editions are sometimes referred to as "Wrap Around" books because the teacher pages are wrapped around the children's textbook pages in large spiral bound volumes. Traditional assessment ideas are often included in these volumes.
To locate a textbook: In the ERC collection, find the call number location for your topic area:

Browse the area, looking for series of volumes that are often spiral bound (teacher's editions).
Each volume will have a label with call number that will include the grade level designated by the textbook publisher.
You may check out any textbook or other material you find in the ERC unless it is from the ERC Reference collection (shelves in front of Corinne Ebbs' office in Ely Library).
