Interlibray Loan (ILL) is a service that provides current Westfield State University students, faculty, and staff with access to materials not currently owned by Ely Library.
The ILL Department is located in the Access Services area on the first floor of Ely Library.

Books:
Regular borrowing collection: 4 weeks use from shipped date
Renewals: Possible
New books: 4 weeks use from shipped date
Renewals: No
ERC books: 4 weeks use from shipped date with approval

Oversized books: These items do not circulate through ILL.
Popular Reading books: These items do not circulate through ILL. Exceptions are made during the summer.

Periodicals:
Full volume periodicals: do not circulate through Interlibrary Loan.
Scans and Photocopies:
Scans are supplied primarily through Article Exchange transmission. Scans may also be supplied via email.
Photocopies may be supplied as a last resort via First Class mail.
Media:
Regular media collection: DVD, VHS, and CDs are loan for 4 weeks use from shipped date.
Renewals: Possible
ERC Media collection: 4 weeks use from shipped date, with approval.
Renewals: Possible
Popular DVD Collection: These items do not circulate through ILL. Exceptions are made during the summer.
