To renew a library item, start by going to our website https://lib.westfield.ma.edu/home and clicking "My Account" in the upper right hand side.
To login, you'll need your Westfield State University email address and password. The username is the first part of your email. For example, elylibrary@westfield.ma.edu would have "elylibrary" as a username. Type in your email password to log into your account.
Once in your account, you'll see your items checked out, holds and charges. Select "Checkouts" to see what library items are currently on your account.
You can use the dropdown menu to sort library items based on due date, title, author, format, and date published. Beside each item, there is a "Renew" button. Click this to renew a selected item.
After clicking the "Renew" button, a message will appear above that says "Your item has been renewed 1 time." To the right, you can see the changed due date.
Sometimes items cannot be renewed. You may see a message like "Item was unable to be renewed" or "This item has reached its renewal limit." If you run into any trouble, you can always send an email to elylibrary@westfield.ma.edu or call our front desk at (413) 572-5231. We are happy to help with any problems that come up on your library account.
