Westfield State University is located at 577 Western Avenue, Westfield, Massachusetts. Ely Library is located on the Western end of the Campus Green, off Scanlon and Ely roads.

Directions to campus:

• Approaching Westfield from the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90), take Exit 3 (Westfield).
• Turn right onto routes 10/202 South, travel for about two miles through town to the Westfield Public Library (on your right).
• Turn right onto Court street/Western Avenue for 2.5 miles.
• Westfield State University is on your right

Visitors may obtain a temporary parking permit which is good for 1 to 24 hours. They can be obtained anytime at the Department of Public Safety. They are also available during business hours at the Switchboard located in Parenzo Hall, the Information Booth in the Campus Center, and the reception desk at Horace Mann Center. The visitor parking closest to the library is located in front of Parenzo Hall.

Handicapped parking is available near the Library on Scanlon Road.

The PVTA Red Line #10 Bus stops at Scanlon Hall and links to the Blue #28 line in Westfield.
