Do you need to write a lesson plan?  If you need guidence and ideas, there are many books and websites you can use to help you along.

Searching for plans / thematic units in the Educational Resources Center

Materials in the Educational Resources Center include those for children (books, big books, games, kits and educational software packages) and those for teachers (lesson & unit plans, textbooks, activity books, etc.).  Enrich and add interest to your own teaching plans as you develop activities for classes you teach.

To search for materials in the ERC, follow these simple instructions.

From the Ely Library QuickSearch:

  • Click on Advanced Search under the search box.
  • In the “Keyword” box, type in B8:education resources collection
  • If you know a title you would like to find, type it in "quotation marks" in the search box next to Title.
  • If you wish to search a topic instead, change the drop down box toKeyword and type in your topic.
  • Enter your search terms in the search box
