UEAAC Peer List Correlation
This is the full list of public peers provided to UEAAC. Institutions with enrollments over 8,000 were not included in data collection, and 5 additional private institutions were added based on Carnegie Classification, enrollment, and geographic location. This left a peer list of 50 institutions.
Public Peer Institution Information
This file provides basic statistics and links to institution websites, org charts, and common data sets. The Data Sources and Notes tab contains important information about where the data points come from and which other files may have similar data. For example, the Public Peer Info file contains the most recent undergraduate & graduate enrollment numbers that were available (usually from common data sets/school fact books), but the Credit Activity file contains FTE and 12-month Headcount as reported to IPEDS for FY19.

Peer Organizational Structure

Peer Org Charts Comparison
This file includes a 30-institution subset of the DHE, Aspirational, and Near/Mid/Far Peer lists. The pivot chart tab allows you to see the reporting structure of these institutions side by side, and you can use filters in order to see, for example, the institutions where Human Resources reports directly to the President or Chancellor, or identify institutions where Academic Affairs and Student Affairs are merged and what departments fall into this division.

Departments by Division Analysis (Excel)
This spreadsheet takes the information in the Org Chart Comparison file and shows the prevalence of each department across institutions, as well as variation in where departments are housed within divisions.

Peer Comparisons- Staffing

This data has been copied from IPEDS; numbers for these staff categories, particularly when looking at part time employees, may not reflect the full workforce of an institution. IPEDS directs institutions to take a snapshot of payroll as it exists in early November each fiscal year.
