What is it?

Constitution Day was established to celebrate the signing of the Constitution of the United States on September 17, 1787 as well as “recognize all who, by coming of age or by naturalization, have become citizens.” Originally passed into law in 1952, it's current form was introduced by Senator Robert Byrd in 2004.
