Complete Reading System: This is "A Total Reading Solution For The Blind User". It is an easy- to-use, self-contained OCR/Reading program with full talking menus. The full talking menus enable blind students to navigate through the settings without a screen reader. The software can also open and read existing documents. The default file format is Microsoft Word, but the program supports virtually every type of word processor.

Kurzweil 3000 Scanner / Reader Software: A comprehensive reading, writing and learning software solution for any struggling reader, including individuals with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, attention deficit disorder or those who are English Language Learners. The software can access virtually any information, whether it is printed, electronic, or on the Web. With its robust study skills tools, Kurzweil 3000 facilitates active reading including: highlighting, text circle tools, annotations, Bookmarks, Voice Notes and Extract in order to create outlines, study guides, or word lists. Decoding support reads words aloud in clear, humanlike, synthetic speech, while a dual highlighting feature adds visual reinforcement. For students who have difficulty physically accessing curriculum materials, Kurzweil 3000 provides a digital means of engaging with text and can support students who use alternative methods for accessing the computer.

PDF Magic Pro 3.0: PDF Magic can convert ALL types of PDF files (including Encrypted) into easy-to-use MS WORD, RTF, HTML or TEXT files. PDF, or "Portable Document Format", is a format commonly used to distribute documents to multiple platforms. Adobe provides a free reader (AcrobatT) that allows users to open a PDF document without having the software that created the document.

Scan and Read Pro V7.0: This program changes printed text into understandable sound. It helps students with reading weaknesses in reading and comprehension by highlighting each word as it is read aloud. The voice can also be turned off if students prefer to focus on the visual input only. The appearance of a page can be customized to fit individual student needs, including support for 12 different languages.

Scan And View 5.0: This software converts a computer and scanner into a CCTV. It is designed for individuals who require magnification to read hand written notes, pictures, and drawings.

Talking Word Processor 7.0: A fully speaking word processor that saves files in standard MS WORD format. An excellent tool for teaching word processing, an aid for general literacy and a convenient proofreading tool.

Text Cloner Pro 7.0: This software provides "Advanced Scanning For Power Users" with two different scanning methods: high-speed and high-detailed scanning. It makes scanners three times faster enabling the PC to scan and recognize five pages a minute with 99-percent accuracy. The scanning package is designed to work with a screen reader's own voice capabilities. It features a high-performance Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine, as well as a built-in spell checker, and one-touch functionality that allows tasks to be accomplished with a single keystroke. It supports 12 languages, including English, French, Spanish, and German.

Text-to-Audio v7.0: An application that can take existing digitized text files and convert them to multiple standard audio formats (e.g. WAVE, MP3 and 8 other formats). All audio files can be saved to other Media (diskettes, CDs) and played on other audio devices / systems (MP3). Includes built-in CD-Burning software.

Ultimate Talking Dictionary: A true "talking dictionary" for everyone. It has a comprehensive, unabridged dictionary AND thesaurus combined that contains over 250,000 words, as well as historical people, places, technical jargon and slang....virtually any word that you would see in standard reading. The Ultimate Talking Dictionary works with any program (i.e. email, word processing, Internet). Just highlight a word, press a button and the UTD looks up the word and reads the definition back to you.

Universal Reader 4.0: A very easy-to-use utility that reads to you. It works with virtually any application and can be used to read email, WORD documents, even web pages. It is as simple as selecting what you want it to read and then click on the floating toolbar and it starts to read.
