since 1940. It indexes nearly 570 journals from 43 countries with content representing
a variety of languages.

Basic Search tips
Basically, you can enter search terms (words) in the search box and click "Search"
to find articles. However, you have many options to get more targeted results.
- Choose a Search Mode
- Boolean/Phrase allows you to combine search terms with "and,"
"or," "not"
- Also search within the full text of articles will look for your
search terms anywhere in articles, even if the terms don't represent the
main focus of the articles
- Limit your results to Linked Full Text articles or by Language,
Published Date or Document Type
- From the top toolbar (blue)
- The Indexes button takes you to a screen where you can browse
specific indexes (for example, you can browse a list of authors to find
all the works by a particular author included in the database)
- Ask-A-Librarian will open a form for emailing the Ely Librarian
Reference Desk if you have questions
