Worldwide Political Science Abstracts  - ProQuest   1975-    Updated Monthly
Combines the merged backfiles of Political Science Abstracts, published by IFI / Plenum, 1975-2000, and ABC POL SCI, published by ABC-CLIO, 1984-2000. WPSA provides citations, abstracts, and indexing of the international serials literature in political science and its complementary fields, including international relations, law, and public administration / policy. The serials list of this new database continues to grow with a focus on expanding international coverage. More than 1,430 titles are being monitored. Search Guide

ProQuest Political Science – ProQuest         1985 -
Provides access to over 460 leading political science and international relations journals including the full-text of 430 core titles, many of which are indexed in Worldwide Political Science Abstracts.   Coverage of  the literature of political science and international relations includes topics such as comparative politics, political economy, international development, environmental policy, and hundreds of related topics.  Search Guide

PAIS International & PAIS Archive – ProQuest       1915-
PAIS International covers 1972 to present with references to more than 625,800 journal articles, books, government documents, statistical directories, grey literature, research reports, conference reports, publications of international agencies, microfiche, Internet material, and more. Publications from over 120 countries are included.  In addition to English, some of the indexed materials are published in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and other languages. The PAIS Archive database comprises a retrospective conversion of the PAIS Annual Cumulated Bulletin, Volumes 1-62, published 1915-1976. PAIS Archive contains over 1.23 million records. Search Guide

A full-text collection in PDF format of retrospective issues from 162 scholarly journals of prime importance in their fields. Subject coverage includes African-American Studies, Anthropology, Asian Studies,  Ecology and Botany,  Economics, Education, Finance, General Science, History, Literature, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science,  Population  / Demography, Sociology, and Statistics.  Dates of coverage: Varies depending on journal title; most have a moving wall that excludes the most recent 2-5 years of coverage. Search Guide . Includes Early Journal Content published prior to 1923 in the United States and prior to 1870 elsewhere - nearly 500,000 articles from 218 journals.

Congressional Research Service (CRS) s the public policy research arm of Congress. This site provides  integrated, searchable and browseable access to many of the full-text CRS reports that have been available at a variety of different Web sites since 1990. Searchable fields include title, author, subhect, full-text, and report number. Boolean searching is supported. Reports were downloaded from a variety of web sites that host CRS reports, either currently or in the past. Many CRS reports are updated on a regular basis, and this site includes all versions of the reports that could be located. Maintained by the University of North Texas Libraries.

Provides access to a variety of social science journals. The database includes over 510 titles, with more than 280 available in full text.  Coverage extends back to the early 1990s. Search Guide

This service covers 1642 free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals covering all subjects and languages. Currently 413 journals are searchable at article level. More than 75,000 articles are included in the DOAJ service. THOMAS is an online compilation of selected publications of the US Congress.  It tracks Federal legislation from the time a bill is introduced until it becomes law or dies in the process. THOMAS provides full text of: Legislation (1989-); Bills (1989-); Congressional Record (1989-); Public Laws (1973-); and Committee Reports (1989-). In the First Person - Alexander Street Press             Current File        Updated Quarterly
An index to  letters, diaries, oral histories and personal narrative, this database covers more than 2,500 collections of oral history from around the world. With upcoming releases, the index will broaden to cover other formats and the proprietary content in the Alexander Street collections. Provides desktop access to more than 6,000 full text periodical titles including 121 wire services; full indexing of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and The Christian Science Monitor newspapers; and a total of more than 10,000 periodical titles with 25 years of backfile coverage from 1980 to present.  The database uses the same search engine as our other InfoTrac databases.  Content includes more than 508 million records from  periodical and news content and indexing from a variety of mainstream and specialized sources including refereed academic journals. A searchable and browsable database containing 41,103 abstracts of demographic literature published in Population Index from 1986-1998. Population Index, published since 1935, is the primary reference tool to the world's population literature. UNESDOC - UNESCO                     Updated Monthly
UNESDOC database contains full texts of UNESCO Documents. Documents are stored in the database either in text mode or in image mode. Full text searching is only done on texts. In this case, pages including the searched terms are directly displayed and the terms are highlighted. Searching in english will be more exhaustive. WWW.
