New York Review of Books  Includes a complete, searchable index of the magazine's contents from 1963 to the present plus the full text of all pieces published in the Review since November 1996. Fees are charged for older material in the Archives.
 

Bookbrowser  This site is dedicated to reading. It offers fiction reading lists, book reviews, forthcoming titles, author information and more. The heart of BookBrowser is the Reading Lists section. BookBrowser has over 3,500 Book Reviews of all genres. Their Review Team adds at least 15 reviews a week.

The Textbook League   Provides independent, expert appraisals of textbooks that publishers are selling to schools right now.  The Textbook League was established in 1989 to support the creation and acceptance of sound schoolbooks. Their chief activity is the publication of The Textbook Letter (or TTL), a bimonthly bulletin that is mailed to subscribers throughout the United States. Tables of contents are available on the web site.

Education Review   Education Review publishes review articles of recently published books in
education. It contains sixteen departments covering the range of educational scholarship, and is intended to promote wider understanding of the latest and best research in the field. All articles are published on-line, with current articles archived on the ER web page and disseminated via an e-mail listserv (EDREV) which can be subscribed to separately.
